THE BYRON ESCAPE PACK
Everything you need. One checkout.

Board. Paddle. Pump. And the brand-new Kona 25 to carry the rest of your day. We've never bundled the Byron before, and we've only built 100 of these. When they're gone, they're gone.

What's in the pack

  • Byron 10'6 in Perfect Day — our most-loved board. 4.7" thick so you ride closer to the water, 32" wide so you stay on it, and light enough to carry anywhere. Ships with backpack, leash, fin and 4-year Total Care warranty.
  • Element Paddle — 3K carbon shaft, 790g, and a nylon blade that's near impossible to kill. Breaks into three, comes with its own case.
  • Your choice of pump — the Honu Battery E-pump (12VDC or USB-C, with an internal battery), or the Triple Compact Pump: dual-chamber, triple-action, with a built-in pressure gauge.
  • Kona 25 Dry Backpack — brand new, never bundled. Roll-top, taped seams, 450D ripstop. Towel, change of clothes, lunch, layers, two bottles. Everything the board doesn't carry.

VERSATILE OUTLINE

Stability without compromise.
Shaped like a classic longboard surfboard, the Byron is built to feel confidence-inspiring across the widest range of conditions, from calm water cruising to playful small-wave sessions. The 32" width carries forward without tapering away too early, giving you a stable, planted platform that feels predictable when the water gets bumpy. A squared-off tail adds even more stability and makes step-back turns feel approachable, so you can progress your technique without the board feeling twitchy or demanding.

LIGHT & RIGID

Strength without the weight.
The Byron hits the rare intersection of being genuinely lightweight, yet impressively rigid and responsive on the water, and that pairing is a big reason it’s loved worldwide. At just 7.6 kg (16.7 lbs), it’s easy to carry, pack, and move around on the beach, but once you’re paddling it feels crisp underfoot, not soft or springy. Every stroke feels more efficient, every weight shift more direct, and the board stays composed when conditions change.

BUNDLED WITH THE BASICS

All you need to get on the water.
The Byron is a top pick for first-timers and experienced paddlers. This bundle pairs it with everything else you need: a paddle, a pump, and a bag to carry it all, so you can go straight to the water without missing a thing. No overthinking.

Inside the Honu Byron:

Advanced Construction. Refined Performance.

The Byron 10'6 is built with precision engineering at its core. It’s built with our latest X‑Woven & Fused drop-stitch construction and heat-welded rails, now finished with X‑Woven ClearSkin, a transparent outer layer that lets you see the woven nylon reinforcement inside.

Underfoot, the deck gets our newly designed EVA tracking with a thumbprint traction pattern engineered for wet grip, all-day comfort, and better water drainage. And for the walk-in, we redesigned the bag from the ground up: more storage, more pockets for easy organisation, and a stowable waist belt so you can tuck it away when its not needed.

A true all-rounder, built to handle the widest range of conditions, without feeling like a compromise.

How Ordering Works
The Torquay is built in small batches. The first drop has just a handful of boards in each size. That's intentional. Every board comes off a hand-finished, precision CNC-machined blank. There are no shortcuts, and there's no warehouse full of stock sitting on a shelf.

Here's how to get one.

Register your interest - Join the waitlist
The first step is simple: register by joining the waitlist. Registered paddlers get priority access to every production run, before any boards are made available to the general public. If you're serious about getting a Torquay, this is where it starts.

Secure your board — 4 weeks before dispatch
Approximately four weeks before your batch is ready to ship from our local warehouse, registered paddlers will receive an invitation to secure their board. At that point, you'll be asked to place a 25% deposit to lock in your size.

Balance due before dispatch
The remaining balance is collected before your board leaves the warehouse. We'll be in touch ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Take delivery
Your board ships from our local warehouse; no international freight, no unexpected duties. Delivery in Australia is via Bigpost and is only to a metro area depot where it will be made ready for you to pickup.

Production runs for 2026: May & August.
Numbers are tight. If you're on the fence, the time to register is now.
