Good speed, comfortable and solid

Board is very well built Seems to have very little flex for an inflatable which is much easier on my feet for long paddles. Paddling speed is the same as my hardboard which I am happy with. Stability is no issue at all. I would buy two if I could!

Buying a SUP is pretty challenging…

Buying a SUP is pretty challenging, I was overwhelmed with brands and models to choose from. I worried I would waste money on the wrong board…

Something about Honu resonated with me, then I asked a few questions and got the right guidance to choose the right model- quickly.

Then it all arrived, it all worked perfectly, and my additional question was addressed - quickly.

Now I am getting on the water with it, and I am loving the challenge, the water, the sun and the peace.

Great experience! Looks great, glides great; Was worried it would be too hard to use considering I'm an absolute beginner; definitely more unstable than my friend's all around board, but cruises like a dream! Really rigid at 20psi; Really 0 complaints, would buy again

I finally got the change to try my 2024 Sorrento 12’6 in two
Greek islands. What a beast! Incredibly fast, stiff, steerable, and of course the most beautiful board wherever we went. Top-notch design &construction. The only thing I wished for was for more time with it. Thanks for creating this amazing board, Mark!!

New Sorrento 12’6 sailing experience in Aegean Sea

Excellent choice my New Sorrento 12’6 which we have been enjoying the last 10 during our summer break. Although it is a bit windy (>5BF) it drives very smoothly, well controlled and manoeuvrable. Thank you for the assistance during transportation, very much appreciated. Panos

Love my Sorrento!

I bought the Sorrento after using an entry level all around board for a few years and have noticed a HUGE difference! The Honu is so much faster and smoother and I haven't had any issues balancing even though it's narrower than my first board. One of the selling points was the rear cargo area since I'm often out all day with a bunch of gear and a cooler. The white elastics look kind of odd and unfinished so I'll probably replace it with a regular crisscross bungee at some point. Other than that, no notes! It's a visually pleasing board that paddles like a dream.

The board is of exceptional quality.

It's a pleasure to use this board. Even from the setup you can tell you've purchased quality. It's fun to take on the water. For me this board is a little shaky in the open ocean. Definitely erforms better on the lake. If I'm being picky, it's hard to clean the dirt off of the footpad, and I wish the screws held a little tighter on the three-piece paddle. They need to be re-tightened after every ride. Having said all that. I have no regrets, an exceptional purchase and a lot of fun to use.

The drop-stitch fabric in every Honu board is made to order...Exclusively for us. It's the most advanced (and most expensive) drop-stitch material available, and it's the foundation of why Honu boards are independently verified as the lightest and stiffest in their class.

The rail construction is where engineering meets obsession. We heat-and-pressure weld 3K carbon fiber directly into the inner rail layer—the most critical component for a leak-proof, rigid board.
