The Byron 10'6 does not come with a pump or paddle by default. Instead, you have the choice to bundle them in if needed. This keeps our prices sharp and unwanted products (waste) down.

We will repair or replace your board, new-for-old, if there are any manufacturing issues within the first four years, including loose seams, faulty valves, or traction pad delamination.
Multiple layers of woven drop stitch are fused during the manufacturing process, where the polyester threads running through the vinyl are crisscrossed, similar to carbon fibre, making it light & stiff.
Found on the Bondi, Byron and Fairlight, this rail construction adds stiffness and durability to the boards. Quite simply, where standard boards have two rail layers, Honu has three.
A universal fin system allows the paddler to try different fins to fine-tune the board's performance across various conditions. It also allows for quick replacement should the need arise.
Combining the tactile feel of a diamond grove with the grip of an alligator pattern provides the paddler with a confidence-inspiring platform that feels soft yet solid underfoot.

I love this board! I've used it in the ocean, rivers and lakes in South West WA and it handles all conditions extremely well. It also looks amazing. I 100% recommend this board to anyone looking for a great all rounder.
I was concerned about getting an inflatable but this is very comfortable, I did a lot of research beforehand and am very happy with this purchase! My only complaint is that I don't live a little closer to the lake. :) I highly recommend it, and in watching recent videos for technique etc., it appears Honu is gaining well deserved traction in the market.
This is my second Byron, and I wouldn't want another board for my coastal paddling adventures. It's plenty stiff at 18psi and rides beautifully in big swells. When the wind gets up and the chop starts to slap the board around it reacts nearly as well as a composite. I don't surf with it, so the lack of rails is not a problem. I love the diamond deck and fact it only weighs 18 pounds as I often have to trek some distance to find a good place to put in. Awesome board!
