The Byron 10'6 has become loved worldwide for its lightweight, rigid feel and confidence-inspiring stability on the water. Refined again for 2023, the new Byron now comes with an upgraded backpack with an ultra-soft padded waist belt for longer walks into secrete paddling spots and a split fin-box system that allows the board to roll up even better than before. The Byron is the go-to paddleboard designed to be capable in the widest range of conditions.

This 4.7" thick inflatable SUP keeps you connected to the water and better able to respond to the swirls and ripples than a standard 6" board and is constructed with our industry-leading X-Woven & Fused drop-stitch material and triple-bonded rails.

The Byron 10'6 does not come with a pump or paddle by default. Instead, you have the choice to bundle them in if needed. This keeps our prices sharp and unwanted products (waste) down. 

Out of the box, the Byron 10'6 includes:

4 YEAR TOTAL CARE WARRANTY

We will repair or replace your board, new-for-old, if there are any manufacturing issues within the first four years, including loose seams, faulty valves, or traction pad delamination.

X-WOVEN & FUSED DROP STITCH

Multiple layers of woven drop stitch are fused during the manufacturing process, where the polyester threads running through the vinyl are crisscrossed, similar to carbon fibre, making it light & stiff.

TRIPLE BONDED RAILS

Found on the Bondi, Byron and Fairlight, this rail construction adds stiffness and durability to the boards. Quite simply, where standard boards have two rail layers, Honu has three.

UNIVERSAL FIN SYSTEM

A universal fin system allows the paddler to try different fins to fine-tune the board's performance across various conditions. It also allows for quick replacement should the need arise.

TEXTURED DIAMOND TRACTION

Combining the tactile feel of a diamond grove with the grip of an alligator pattern provides the paddler with a confidence-inspiring platform that feels soft yet solid underfoot.

The Honu Byron exceeded expectations as an all round iSUP. Honu have definitely thought about their design of this board and how it is going to perform for the everyday paddler. The 4.7″ design gives you added stability, whilst the front and rear handles are a welcome addition.

Byron 10’6”

I have been using the board every weekend for the past month or so and couldn’t be happier. I did a lot of research before buying and decided I wanted the slimmer profile that Honu offered rather than the thicker profile of other brands. It is a great quality board, very sleek and clean without a bunch of extra stuff all over it which is what I wanted. I think it was well worth the money.

Better than Red

This is an excellent board! It is stiffer than my Red Paddle Ride 10-6 and just as maneuverable as my ERS 9-6 Dual, even though the Dual is a foot shorter and an inch narrower. I thought I was getting this board for my SUP students but now I'm not sure I want to share. I am equally impressed with the customer service I've received from Mark and the crew at Honu.

Fantastic Inflatable Board

I am so glad I purchased the Byron. I've tried several beginner-friendly boards and this one has been my absolute favorite. It is lightweight, easy to carry, feels very stable, and has a beautiful design. It feels like I am standing on a hard board. The accessories work well. The customer service was incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank you to Mark for helping me select the right board and fin for me.

My new honu board

My first board was a beginner (cheaper) package deal off of Amazon. It made me love paddleboarding and I was doing a ton of research when I was ready to upgrade. I am impressed by the thinness and light weight of the Bryant compared to other isups. I find it to be super well balanced. The first time I took it out was in 2-3 ft waves in the gulf to try and catch surf and didn’t even noticed I was on a new/unfamiliar board. Although I just got it and have only been out a handful of times, I am looking forward to my days off to hit the water.

I want to also comment on how awesome the guidance and customer service is from Honu. I was able to reach out and get a timely, personalized response. I would 100% recommend this board and company.
