I own four of these paddles and that says pretty much everything about their quality and my degree of satisfaction. The ferrules are hexagonal and impossible to misalign when putting the pieces together or twist during paddling. The paddle is light enough that even my seven year old boy can use it but also very stiff due to the high grade carbon. I also like the colour and the simplicity of the graphic design, but this is only a personal preference. Highly recommended.

Very nice paddle over the stock paddle that came with my Blackwater board. Very happy with my purchase.
Light, super stiff, no play in the joints, enough grip not to slip, but not so much it rubs at your skin, and the carrying case is awesome. It has 3 compartments so none of the pieces rub against each other, which is a great touch. Price wise I probably would have gone with the Hydrus, but this one came with free shipping to Canada which made them almost even. That sealed the deal for me.
This paddle is a must have if you're looking for a sturdy, lightweight SUP paddle.
You can paddle hard and know that the paddle will withstand the force. Being as lightweight as it is, it really makes a difference when you're out on your board for hours.

I got to use the Honu paddle for the first time yesterday. It is light and sturdy. I like how they designed it. I have a perfect grip wit it and 3 parts connected paddle does not loosen while being used and does the job in getting power from the water. Great Job Honu!
