When designing the new Sorrento 11'3, the goal was simple: Take the materials, shape and technology that made the full-size Sorrento an award winner and apply it to a smaller, lower-volume version. Not satisfied stopping there, we also introduced new features like the integrated action camera mount and a refined EVA traction pad that flows seamlessly over a large tail kickpad. The new Sorrento 11'3 is perfect for lighter paddlers or those wanting a faster day touring board that is incredibly light & responsive out on the water.
Constructed with our X-woven material and Honu's exclusive Welded Carbon Rails, the Sorrento 11'3 delivers an unmatched feeling of speed and stability out on the water.

Having worked on welding rails now for over two years, our production team have perfected the art of welding to produce rails that are not only floorless but will outlast any non-welded board.

The Sorrento includes a heavy duty roller bag-pack with internal pockets, a safety coil leash and a high performance touring fin. The only thing needed to complete the your package is a paddle, which you can choose after clicking on Add To Cart at a discounted price.

4 YEAR TOTAL CARE WARRANTY
We will repair or replace your board, new-for-old, if there are any manufacturing issues within the first four years, including loose seams, faulty valves, or traction pad delamination.
WELDED 3K CARBON RAILS
Exclusive to Honu, this complex construction uses heat+pressure welding to fuse the inner rail with a 25mm strip. Then a 50mm 3K carbon rail is bonded under the outer rail layer for ultimate stiffness & durability.
X-WOVEN & FUSED DROP STITCH
Multiple layers of woven drop stitch are fused during the manufacturing process, where the polyester threads running through the vinyl are crisscrossed, similar to carbon fibre, making it light & stiff.
UNIVERSAL FIN SYSTEM
A universal fin system allows the paddler to try different fins to fine-tune the board's performance across various conditions. It also allows for quick replacement should the need arise.
TEXTURED DIAMOND TRACTION
Combining the tactile feel of a diamond grove with the grip of an alligator pattern provides the paddler with a confidence-inspiring platform that feels soft yet solid underfoot.
The Sorrento will be the go to board for many lighter to mid weight riders, wanting to do it all! Honu’s previous and bigger 12’6″x 30″ Sorrento was a very stiff and well performing touring SUP that riders all around the world are loving. This new Sorrento may be the same width (30″) but by being shorter (11’3″) and thinner (4.7″) it really does offer something different, and ideal for many mid to lighter weight riders
The first thing that struck me as I unboxed the Sorrento 11’3 was just how lightweight it is. At only 8.4 kg (18.5 lbs), this board is an absolute feather compared to some of the heavier SUPs I’ve tried in the past. But don’t let the lightweight nature fool you—this board is anything but flimsy.

I'm so grateful to Honu for designing such an incredible board at such a reasonable price point. Was exactly the size and design I was looking for. I'm so perplexed why more SUP manufacturers don't make 4-5" thick boards. It's super responsive, easy to maneuver, feels very stable. Looks slick. Mark was super responsive to a question I had. Oh and the backpack it comes with is a genius design, it fit my board, paddle, life jacket, and had some room to spare, and it fits the size limit for checked luggage. I'm obsessed. Thanks Mark!
