I own 8 boards. Why, I do not know. There is no perfect board but when it comes to an inflatable surf SUP, then the Bondi should be at the top of your list. Well made, great fin set up, rolls up nice and compact, comes with a top class bag and great pump. . I also appreciate the fact that a paddle is not included. One pays extra for a paddle you may never use. I have my own specific needs in a paddle and am free to choose my ideal fixed shaft, full carbon ,slightly narrower than recommend.
My only complaint is that my 50 kg wife has been stealing my Bondi to paddle around the estuary out front of our home. The board is nice and light, well constructed and can take a knock or two which would severely injured one of my epoxy boards. . Looks like I will have to cough up some $$$$$$$ and get another one.
I am not knocking those cheaper “sports store “ inflatables which paddlers often buy. As a first board they can be excellent and anything that gets you out in the water is awesome but I think spending the extra money on a well constructed and designed board like the Bondi is money well spent.
