Bondi Highlights
Surf SUPers will love the shape and rocker line that produces a 4" thick board, emulating the performance generally expected from hardboards. A pure surfing SUP with a Twin+1 set of Volan fins and a hard rail edge that, combined, helps the paddler take off and turn with ease.
When setting out to design the new Bondi surfing SUP, the goal was to produce a no-compromise board that would perform as close as possible to a fibreglass equivalent. More than 18 months in development, the new Bondi is for the surfing purist, with every last detail, down to board-specific finboxes designed to produce a board capable of handling surf of any size with confidence.
Available in two sizes, 8'8 and 9'5 and just 4" thick, constructed with our X-woven material with Honu's exclusive Welded Carbon Rails. Both sizes feature an aggressive outline and rocker that is further enhanced by a hard rail edge that finishes just in front of the Volan keel fins. All working together to make steep take-offs and powerful bottom turns an easy undertaking.
SUP surfers will appreciate the time spent in developing the Futures-compatible fin system that includes performance fiberglass fins. The twin+1 setup is designed to provide the surfer with flexibility to tune the ride. Start with all three fins for the most stability, but removing the centre fin, leaving in the twin keels provides a fast and loose ride more advanced paddlers will love.

The Bondi includes a heavy duty roller bag-pack with internal pockets, a 9' surfing leash and a complete set of high performance Volan fins. The only thing needed to complete the your package is a paddle, which you can choose after clicking on Add To Cart at a discounted price.

4 YEAR TOTAL CARE WARRANTY
We will repair or replace your board, new-for-old, if there are any manufacturing issues within the first four years, including loose seams, faulty valves, or traction pad delamination.
WELDED 3K CARBON RAILS
Exclusive to Honu, this complex construction uses heat+pressure welding to fuse the inner rail with a 25mm strip. Then a 50mm 3K carbon rail is bonded under the outer rail layer for ultimate stiffness & durability.
X-WOVEN & FUSED DROP STITCH
Multiple layers of woven drop stitch are fused during the manufacturing process, where the polyester threads running through the vinyl are crisscrossed, similar to carbon fibre, making it light & stiff.
UNIVERSAL FIN SYSTEM
A universal fin system allows the paddler to try different fins to fine-tune the board's performance across various conditions. It also allows for quick replacement should the need arise.
TEXTURED DIAMOND TRACTION
Combining the tactile feel of a diamond grove with the grip of an alligator pattern provides the paddler with a confidence-inspiring platform that feels soft yet solid underfoot.
This is one outstanding surfing iSUP... The new Bondi is a real ripper! We heard this board was coming about a year ago, from the Honu designer Mark Travers. So we’ve been eagerly waiting! He said it was going to be a new board to take inflatable SUP surfing to the next level. And now having used the Bondi, lets just say this board didn’t disappoint!
Having recently put the Bondi iSUP Surf board by HONU through a test drive, I’m excited to share my thoughts. This board stands out not just because it’s an inflatable board designed specifically for surfing – obviously offering the benefits of portability – but because it is evident that HONU CEO and designer Mark Travers is an engineer at heart, as the board features several premium exclusive innovations, particularly in the rails and fin department, which are real differentiators in the inflatable SUP surf segment.
