Top class from tip to tail
I am not an experienced paddler but I recently had the chance to get a good rundown on two boards, one entry-to-mid level and one high-end iSUP. It didnt take me long to work out that this paddle-board caper was something that I really wanted to get into a bit more.
Although not an experienced SUPper, I am a product guy who nerds out on details and is quite picky. It didnt take much for me to descend into a 6-hour rabbit hole of researching what makes a good iSUP and what details I wanted in mine.
I found some of the more well-known premium iSUPs and they were good but just didnt have the right mix of what I was looking for - then I stumbled across Honu and their range, although small is super well considered and seemed to tick all of the boxes I had.

Service and delivery has been top shelf from answering questions beforehand to following up afterwards. Delivery came quickly, the products are beautifully packaged in (mostly) plastic-free packaging and the quality is visible.
One thing that immediately jumped out at me was how light it was. Its also quite thin for an iSUP and nice and stiff (even at 16 PSI).
On the water it paddles great. I am 6'5" tall so centre of gravity for me has never been my strong suit and do find stability to be an issue sometimes but not paddling this board. It does sit lower in the water so you feel like you are…
