The Byron 10'6 does not come with a pump or paddle by default. Instead, you have the choice to bundle them in if needed. This keeps our prices sharp and unwanted products (waste) down.
Out of the box, the Byron 10'6 includes:
We will repair or replace your board, new-for-old, if there are any manufacturing issues within the first four years, including loose seams, faulty valves, or traction pad delamination.
Multiple layers of woven drop stitch are fused during the manufacturing process, where the polyester threads running through the vinyl are crisscrossed, similar to carbon fibre, making it light & stiff.
Found on the Bondi, Byron and Fairlight, this rail construction adds stiffness and durability to the boards. Quite simply, where standard boards have two rail layers, Honu has three.
A universal fin system allows the paddler to try different fins to fine-tune the board's performance across various conditions. It also allows for quick replacement should the need arise.
Combining the tactile feel of a diamond grove with the grip of an alligator pattern provides the paddler with a confidence-inspiring platform that feels soft yet solid underfoot.
The Honu Byron exceeded expectations as an all round iSUP. Honu have definitely thought about their design of this board and how it is going to perform for the everyday paddler. The 4.7″ design gives you added stability, whilst the front and rear handles are a welcome addition.

My first board was a beginner (cheaper) package deal off of Amazon. It made me love paddleboarding and I was doing a ton of research when I was ready to upgrade. I am impressed by the thinness and light weight of the Bryant compared to other isups. I find it to be super well balanced. The first time I took it out was in 2-3 ft waves in the gulf to try and catch surf and didn’t even noticed I was on a new/unfamiliar board. Although I just got it and have only been out a handful of times, I am looking forward to my days off to hit the water.
I want to also comment on how awesome the guidance and customer service is from Honu. I was able to reach out and get a timely, personalized response. I would 100% recommend this board and company.
I’m new to SUP so I used a few borrowed ones before I decided on the Byron Bay 10’ 6”. Compared to the others it tracks really well with its single fin. Being able to remove the fin for rolling the board up makes it easy to put away. Being just under 17 pounds it’s easy to move around as well as being fast on the water. I like the simplicity of the surface without a bunch of additional attachment points. It’s a good, clean board to get out and get going on quickly. The Elements paddle is noticeably light weight with plenty of blade surface area. The pack bag is well made too.
used it on slow rivers, alpine lakes and sea. Amazingly stable yet still fast. Also appreciate the lightweight. If I could keep just one of my 6 SUPs, it would be the Byron.
Really happy with the purchase, good quality accessories, easy setup, easy to carry. Pumping the board up to the recommended psi with the provided manual pump is quick and easy with a little effort (and is a great pre-paddle shoulder warm up!).
