Absolutely love this board !! The colour is gorgeous and I’m impressed with the quality of the board. I went over budget for my first board bc after doing so much research I was drawn to the Honu boards and honestly it did not disappoint!! Already taken it out a couple of times and it’s made me so excited for summer. I do wish though that there were more instructions on the website on inflating the board and using the pump bc I didn’t realise that the meter stayed steady at 0-5 until it got to 15 psi. I thought the pump was broken 😅 other than that I’m super happy w everything else :))
A great product
1st time I tried paddleboarding was a rental ISUP that was way too big for my size, but a friend and I still decided to buy our own. I completed a lot of research on the best boards for our size and weight. It kept coming back to Honu. We both purchased the Honu Byron Paddleboard, were able to stand our 1st time out and been having a blast since. Very happy with the boards and to Mark, who has been very responsive to any and all questions we have had. Thank you Honu!
I’ve used my new SUP several times and find it to be very comfortable to paddle, it glides well, and is very stiff. I love that I can load it up on top of my car by my self. Very light!
I am a first time paddle boarder, find the board stable enough for me, checked out the infos provided on how to etc. I have been going to a local lake during perfect weather conditions only being a beginner and have really enjoyed it. Paddling is easy and the board pretty well held its course even with a bit of wind or rather was easily corrected. The pump made inflating and deflating a breeze, but it is be a bit noisy when working harder. The paddle works well for me, I am tall and since it comes with extension it worked perfectly for my hight. I would definitely recommend it all. I also really like the warranty, which played a big part in my decision making when making the purchase.
Bought this to keep in our camper van. It arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and in time for a long holiday weekend of camping, mountain biking, and cliff jumping. Only used the once so far but seems super high quality, was easy to inflate/deflate, and handled beautifully on calm lake - very lightweight but stable. We were the envy of the group of friends. The only downside was the board was so popular I didn’t get to use it much myself as everyone else had such a great time. I would definitely buy again and highly recommend (and in fact strongly suggested that everyone get their own before our next trip!) Thanks to the team at Honu!
This is the second Honu Paddle board I have purchased. I brought one for myself, but my partner kept stealing it because he loved using it so much, so I had to buy him one too! You really notice the superior quality of these boards compared to a lot of the cheaper ones on the market. We take our Honu boards in the river, ocean, lakes and we are really happy with them!
Everything from buying, delivery and set up to actually using the board has been incredible.
I wanted a light paddle board that is reasonably stable but not too slow either and Byron really ticks all the boxes for me. I was actually surprised how light to carry it is. There was only one other board I could find that was so light but the cost was 2x! It’s clearly well made, it has everything you need and nothing more. Love the simplicity and how ethical Honu is. I’m absolutely thrilled I chose Honu!
I love this board. It's the closest to ride to my ridged than I've experienced in my Supping career.
It is incredibly light, love that for carrying it to the water. Only disappointment was that it didn’t come with an optional shorter fin. I paddle board in rivers and streams with plant growth and rocks.

The Honu Byron exceeded expectations as an all round iSUP. Honu have definitely thought about their design of this board and how it is going to perform for the everyday paddler. The 4.7″ design gives you added stability, whilst the front and rear handles are a welcome addition.
